Four months old

A few interesting things:

- Evan got his second round of shots last week. He did a lot better than last time. He cried just as hard at first, but daddy picked him up and he settled down. He seemed happy the rest of the day, as any other day. He weights 15 lb 3 oz, and is 25.5 inches long.

- Evan loves playing on the floor. We set up his tummy time mat, and though he doesn't play on his tummy for long, he stands it a little more every day. That is until he starts crying and screaming. Though we don't let it get that far anymore, as soon as he starts getting upset we turn him over and do something else. If we let him cry and scream, there's no more play to be had.

- He has started to try to lift his butt when he's on his tummy. It's really funny to watch. And once he sort of rolled over. He was on his tummy, lifting himself with his elbows, and suddenly he was on his back. Not sure how it happened, it just sort of did. He hasn't succeeded since.

- Evan loves sitting, though he likes standing better. We finally put him in his Bum.bo seat, and he likes it, until he just wants to stand. How do we know, you may ask? Because he pushes his butt up and straightens his legs.

- Evan has discovered his feet. Every time I change his diaper he helps me by grabbing his feet. If I didn't think there's a chance he would pee all over, I would let him stay diaper free so he can play with his feet more often. I do give him a couple of minutes to just grab his feet. I'm sure he'll figure out soon enough he can grab them anytime, not just during diaper changes.

- This is my favorite. I *think* there's a chance he's left handed. That's right, left handed (excuse while I jump up and down). He grabs things with his left hand more often than with the right, he usually doesn't need to pay as much attention to his left hand to grab something, but he usually stares at his right hand when he wants to grab something with it. He favors his left thumb, and when he's happy and excited, it's his left hand than makes it to his mouth more often.

Did you know that lefties are born, not made? I have high hopes for Evan being left handed, that would be so cool! (I'm left handed, hence my over excitement)
