Father's Day

I planned a surprise Father's Day trip for Josh and I. I had to tell him about it about 2 weeks early, but he was still surprised. And we're leaving tomorrow.

Josh has been insisting that we have some time alone, and we're going to get it, Josh's style.

We're going to Seattle for a baseball game! And a friend of mine is taking care of Evan for the night.

I've been planning this for about 6 weeks, you'd think I'd be ready to leave the Bug by now. The truth is I don't know how ready I am. I don't know how many calls I'll feel like making, and how many Josh will actually let me make before he gets cranky!

But I've done what I can: Evan will stay with someone I trust, and he'll be 20 minutes away from our hotel. So hopefully I'll enjoy our first date night, with a little help from my wonderful husband, and some alcohol...
