So here's a little list of Lovebug's facts (in no particular order):- Evan can sleep for 3-4 hours in a row. He even slept for 7 hours straight once, at 3 weeks old! We were in San Diego, and it hasn't happened again.
- He finally lost his umbilical cord stump at 3 weeks and 2 days old. It was hanging by a thread and it seemed to bother him, so I cut it off.
- Evan hates being naked. We tried to get some of those cute naked baby pictures, but he wanted no part of it, he just wanted his clothes back on. I'm sure that'll change later in life...
- He has already been on a plane and on a boat. He slept through most of both experiences, which speaks of his relaxed love of adventures... right?
- He loves new, clean diapers. As soon as he has a new, clean diaper on, he must take care of business. That's how we've counted up to 15 diapers per day. Who wouldn't like a new diaper, really...
- Evan also loves warm baths. He screams before and after (again, the naked thing), but while he's in there, he seems very relaxed.
- He recognizes both mom and dad's voices, and turns toward our voice and follows us with his eyes across the room. He's such a clever little one (yeah, I'm his mom, what else am I going to say??)
- I'm sure he's about 10 lbs by now, and I would guess 23 inches. He's growing so fast!
- He has amazing head control. He loves hanging out on daddy's shoulder and look around.
- He's incredibly cute!!
