Happy 1st Birthday, Joan!
I know, I know, I've been gone too long! I'm trying to get my act together, though. I want to start blogging somewhat regularly for you!
As you can imagine, there's a lot to tell. It's been 7 months (ay, ay, ay!), but our kids are way too energetic right now! Joan is crawling and standing on her own, chatting away with her 9-10 words, ready to take on the world. Evan is saying new words everyday, we're getting ready to start potty training him (no more diapers! stay tuned for that, I know you want to know all about it) and if everything goes well, he'll start preschool in August (can you believe he's old enough for that?)
In addition, I'm volunteering my time to the Board of Mommy and Me (who knew it would take so much of my time?), and I started running, which I paired with... you guessed it, a running BLOG! Because I obviously have so much time to blog, one blog wasn't enough... now I have three blogs to take care of!
I'm actually excited about all of it, but I do need to make time to sit down and write. This is my favorite blog because I know it's family and friends reading, wanting to know what's up with us and what the kids are doing, so I'll try to make it back here soon with some juicy updates.
In the meantime, accept my apologies for the long hiatus. I hope you at least enjoy the new pictures!
